Spirit Dolls I have used plastic bottle for the bodies and styrafoam balls for the head. They have no faces because I am more interested in the design of the garments. Each is similar but no one is alike. The form of the garment is dictated by the shape of the bottle. I got the idea of using the bottle and the styrafoam ball from a Seattle artist Marita Dingus when she gave a talk at the Seattle Weaver's Guild sometime in the early 90's. Her dolls at the time looked nothing like mine but we started from the same base. All these dolls have been sold but if anyone would like to have a doll made for them I would be more then happy to create a Spirit Doll just for you.
